Objective: Perform an analysis on a company proxy statements.
Realization:
We performed an analysis on Allstate proxy statement to answer to the following questions:
• How does the CEO’s salary fluctuate compare to his other compensation?
• Does CEO’s total compensations vary with the stock market fluctuation?
• Has the filing date influenced the number of trades?
• What are frequently used words in the Q&A section?
With R and Excel, we compared data from different sources and presented our finding in the presentation aside.
